ABLE is an acronym for Adventists for Better Life and Energy
The ABLE Diet and Lifestyle program has its foundations in biblical teachings (Gen. 1: 29-31, Rev. 22:2), the revelations from the Spirit of Prophecy (by E.G. White), proven scientific data, general concepts from the Rural Kitchen and the Ten Natural Laws of Health.
The essence of any good diet and lifestyle program is to ensure proper nutrition to the body as well as the development of better habits that prevent diseases, promote optimum health, and maintain good health. A better diet and lifestyle build a stronger immune system in the body to prevent diseases. For we are what we eat! We need to move from Living to eat to Eating to live to avoid illness.
Many individuals, including Christians, are suffering in their bodies and or are dying from chronic but preventable diseases because of the deviation from God’s given diet at creation and poor lifestyles. Many people are also getting sick worldwide today because of lack of adequate knowledge about proper diet and lifestyle. In America, for instance, many people are getting sick because of their dependence on the Standard American Diet (SAD), which is loaded with animal products, fats, chemical additives/preservatives, sugar and salt. The SAD is the breeding ground for obesity, which is the mother of the leading chronic killer diseases of many Americans.
For serious individuals seeking a comprehensive diet and lifestyle to ensure optimum health, the ABLE Diet and Lifestyle program offers a better alternative. With the ABLE Diet and Lifestyle, many of the chronic ailments could be prevented. Below are the general principles underlying the ABLE Diet and Lifestyle program.
Eat simple and live longer, for we are what we eat! A healthy environment within the body would prevent diseases from developing. Give the body simple nutritious meals, and it will build a better immune system and heal itself.
Avoid as much as possible commercially prepared or processed foods ─whether they are vegetarian or non-vegetarian ─that are loaded with artificial chemicals or preservatives, because they are injurious to the body. These chemical additives kill the body slowly!
Avoid all animal flesh and products (fish, meat, poultry, and dairy products). A little honey is the only exception.
Eating should be an enjoyable moment for any individual, family or group. Eat as close to nature as possible ─eat foods in their natural form as mush as possible. In the Rural Kitchen foods are eaten in their natural form.
Avoid overcooking your vegetables as this destroys the live enzymes and other good nutrients in them. Be prepared to learn how to cook. Parents and guardians have to teach their children how to prepare healthy and delicious meals. Stir-fry cooking is strongly encouraged.
At least 2/3 (70%) of all meals should be freshly prepared raw vegetables and fruits. Thirty percent or less should be cooked or stir-fried. For the vegetable/fruit combination, 50% should be vegetables and 50% fruits.
Drink at least 10 cups to one gallon of water a day to keep the body well hydrated and to keep the blood vessels well opened. Remember your body is at least 65% water. Avoid all cooked or pasteurized juices because they lack the essential nutrients and enzymes that your body needs. Avoid carbonated drinks because in the beginning God did not create soda! Drink your juices fresh!
Take 2 tablespoons of Barleymax or your herbal teas at least twice daily in pure / distilled water. Barleymax is fully loaded with live enzymes, minerals & vitamins, and essential amino acids that the body needs (you may take more depending on your special needs). Drink at least 3 cups of freshly made carrot juice with your meals. It is recommended that 50% of all freshly made juices without any preservatives should be fresh carrots.
For individuals that are in transition from the non-vegetarian to the vegetarian ABLE Diet, it is strongly recommended that you cleanse the colon by taking Herbal Fiber cleanse─1 teaspoon-full twice daily until one bottle is completed.
The Ten Natural Laws of Health (GB NEW START / MANYANOHA PAA) should be followed to attain optimum health.
Other supplements recommended by Health Talk Inc. to complement the ABLE Diet and Lifestyle program include: Vitamin B12 and Essential Oils – Olive, flax etc.
The most important investment in life is an investment in your health. Invest in your health today by adopting the ABLE Diet and Lifestyle program, because it is better to prevent diseases before they occur. Prevention is better than cure. Your health is in your hands and you it is your responsibility to take good care of it.
ABLE Diet on a typical day ─some suggestions:
Take 2 Tablespoons of Barleymax or herbal teas in 1-2 cups of pure / distilled water on empty stomach. After 30 minutes you may eat a big bowl of fruits or drink your herbal teas.
Mid morning: drink 8 oz of freshly prepared carrot juice. Drink lots of water to keep your body hydrated usually an hour before or 2 hours after meals. Do not wait to be thirsty. I normally carry a gallon of water daily to my office and drink it liberally. If you have any medical condition requiring fluid restriction, consult with your healthcare provider or a nutritional consultant who understands the importance of water to the body.
Eat a big bowl of salad (2/3 of meals) with home made dressings that do not contain artificial preservatives. The salads should be made up of a variety (at least 5) colorful vegetables. Iceberg lettuce contains very few nutrients. It is better to avoid iceberg lettuce if you are a vegetarian. Eat a little healthy cooked food (1/3 of meals). Drink your cup of carrot juice. Do not forget to drink your water.
Take 2 tablespoons of Barleymax /herbal teas in a cup or two of distilled water. Eat a big bowl of salad with little healthy cooked food as explained above. 8 oz of carrot juice or other juices. Drink your water liberally as above.
Frozen fruit ice cream. Home-made baked goods. Eat a variety of fruits of your choice.
On the ABLE Diet and Lifestyle program, Health Talk Inc. strongly discourages the use of all dairy products. Make almond milk if you have to drink something white. For sucrose (brown or white sugar) from sugar cane or beet, artificial sugar substitutes), replace with dates or little honey or fresh apple juice. Use unprocessed sea salt. Avoid coffee and coffee products as well cocoa and cocoa products because they all contain caffeine, which can harm the body.
